Truckee Backyard Wedding

Natalie and Andy got married at a family friend's house in Truckee, CA. surrounded by beautiful pine forests on a warm late Spring afternoon. With a love of the outdoors, Natalie and Andy wanted their wedding to be a day spent with their closest family and friends relaxing with plenty of games, drinks, and good barbecue. What I loved about this wedding was that it was truly a labor of love by both family and friends to make the bride and groom's day exactly what they envisioned. Natalie's mother-in-law spent months finding trinkets and vintage pieces that they could incorporate into the table settings and centerpieces, Natalie's mother made her elegant veil, her father and friends helped set up and clear the backyard, her father-in-law pruned and mowed the grounds. Others pitched in to make all of the backyard games, cut the healthy veggies for the appetizers, set up sound equipment, and arrange the details. Not only were so many moments filled with love that manifested during the wedding day, but I also had the honor of witnessing the outpouring of loving labor leading up to it.
